Tailor-Made Journeys Pty Ltd trades as South America Travel Centre, Antarctica Travel Centre & Arctic Travel Centre (formally South America Travel Centre – since 1995). We have first-hand knowledge of South & Central America, Antarctica & the High Arctic.
We are a member of AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) and of ATAS (AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme) who set the benchmark of quality for the travel industry.

A tailor-made journey in South America, an Antarctic or Arctic Cruise designed just for you.
An expert travel specialist will work with you to design your entire journey personally for you and how you want to experience South & Central America, Antarctica, & the High Arctic. In South America you will travel on your own, at your pace, accompanied by private guides and drivers with private, air conditioned vehicles. We help you select the best Arctic or Antarctica cruise, ship, operator and time of the season to get the most enjoyment from your cruise. We start by asking lots of questions – what is you you interests are, whether you like small boutique properties, as well as preferred style of cruise, and size of ship (as this can have a significant impact on your experience), what are your key interests are (e.g. wildlife, photography, culture, cuisine, history or art) that you might like to include.
We are well versed in South America flight schedules, including air passes with LATAM Airlines (which offer excellent value) and we’ll ensure you don’t waste time at the airport, or make unnecessary early starts where they can be avoided, waste time with a poorly thoughts through itinerary and most important of all not to miss your trip of a lifetime to Antarctica, or the High Arctic.

Our Antarctic partners are the world’s leading operators best – many have been known to us since 2001.
Whilst in South America there is always someone on hand in-country to help you out when you are on your trip. If your flight is delayed our partners on the ground will be looking out for you and make sure your transfer will be waiting for you when you arrive, regardless of the time. Should something unexpected happen, our operators are available 24 hours a day to assist you. You can travel knowing you have someone looking out for you.

Before you depart we provide you with a bound booklet of detailed documentation to take with you. It includes everything you need to know; where you are going, what time your flights and transfers are, additional activities you may consider in your spare time, safety tips, emergency contact phone numbers, phrases in the native tongue of your destination that you may wish to try out, and some additional restaurants and sites you may like to visit.
