When I was younger I was lucky enough to go on an around the world holiday with my family. Before this, I had no desire to travel and thought that Australia was pretty much as good as it could get. On our last day of this incredible holiday my dad said to me he wanted to take us on this trip so that we could see that there was so much to see of the world and it was best to make a start on it as soon as possible. Since then, I’ve been trying my best to slowly experience as much as I can living both in Indonesia and Canada and travelling through Asia, Europe and the US. The older I’ve gotten the more that South America has piqued my interest. In the beginning of 2018 I dipped my toes in the magnitude of Latin America by travelling to Mexico for a month. The colours, the food (in turn the scents) and most importantly the people were unlike anything else I’d experienced. Working for Tailor-Made Journeys certainly hasn’t dimmed my interest in the area but only added fuel to the fire and I cannot wait to experience more and more of these incredibly diverse regions. I enjoy hiking so for my next trip I would love to trek the world famous trails in Patagonia and Peru.
