South America Travel Centre Pty Ltd was founded in 1995. In 2012 with the addition of Antarctica and the Arctic the business name was changed to Tailor-Made Journeys. Which trades as:

THE BEGINNING
South America Travel Centre was founded in 1995. In 2011 the business was bought by Cinzia Mucciante, one of the original staff members, and Alex Burridge, who had previously worked at Peregrine Adventures for 15 years. One of his roles at Peregrine was Polar Expeditions Manager, given most Antarctic voyages depart from South America Antarctica Travel Centre was added in 2012, the Arctic Travel Centre was added in 2015 to facilitate looking after past Antarctic travellers.
We are a wholly owned Australian Business.

To create your ideal journey; to combine a selection of experiences, properties, activities, tastes and events and to weave them together into a tour suited to your individual requirements.
OUR TEAM
Experience is key, our team has a wealth of experience. We first visited South America in 1992, Antarctica in 2000 and the Arctic in 2001. Every year we return to add to our knowledge, to add to our experience which we then share with you to ensure we offer you the best advice.

Tailor-Made Journeys has three destination specific web sites. Each site is just a starting point with sample itineraries, a range of properties, ships and experiences. As an independent travel specialist we will talk to you, ask lots of questions, so we understand your needs. Then set about creating your holiday, finding the right properties, ships and experiences.
